Health and Safety
Please review this Nanuet Health FAQ from Mrs. Hanigan, school nurse:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 school year. As our District continues to monitor the information regarding COVID-19, the Nanuet High School is preparing for a hybrid opening on September 14, 2020. Our teachers continue to develop resources and tools for students and are excited to begin the school year. The safety and well-being of our students, teachers and staff is our top priority and we are working hard to promote a positive learning environment every day. We thank you for your support and patience as we embark on a most unusual school year beginning. Teachers have developed resources they will be posting via Schoology, Google Classroom and other online resources. The high school has diverse course offerings, so our teachers are communicating with students to provide direction and clarity specific to their individual course. Teachers are also providing resources and materials as needed. We are hopeful these resources will promote retention of material and support review for cumulative assessments in Advanced Placement and Regents level courses.
Please continue to monitor the District’s website for updates from Dr. McCahill.
In addition to your child's school counselor, if you have concerns about your high school student, please reach out to our clinical support staff:

Dr. Claire Reder, School Psychologist email@example.com
Ms. Rebecca Wellington, School Psychologist firstname.lastname@example.org
The staff has put together resources to assist:
We hope you are safe and well.
Thank you for your continued support.
