Our goals throughout this semester are to:

•  provide you with a thorough understanding of our nation’s system of government, 
• to instill the qualities of good citizenship that will enable you to put your knowledge
  into action, 
• to provide the skills you need to participate fully in a democratic society, and 
• to familiarize you with the contemporary issues that face the United States.
